About Us
We at Raven and
Sons take great pride in creating the products we
sell. Each piece is handmade with a true love for
what we do. So
who are we? Well, that's a complicated question,
but put simply, we're a bunch of guys who love
making glass art. Raven Literally
the father of this company, Raven, otherwise known
as Daddy or John DeLancey, started this company
and incited our love for glass. With developing
experience in blown glass, lampworking, stained
glass, glass painting, and a whole plethora of
other artistic endeavors, Raven is the glass guru,
so-to-speak, of the business. John can be reached
at raven@ravenandsons.com
Son #1 This
John DeLancey is the web designer of the business.
Assisting in the creation and design of some the
glass products, and the jewelry maker of the
family (section coming soon!), John is definitely
the most important guy here (but some would say
that he only thinks that and it only made it to
this page because he made it...) This John can be
reached at webmaster@ravenandsons.com
Son #2 Josh
DeLancey is one big dude in this business.
Standing a proud 6' 3" and weighing in at 230
pounds of pure muscle, this man is the one who
helps with the REALLY hot stuff (like pulling
molten glass out of a 2000 degree furnace...) Josh
also has interest in blacksmithing, so we may be
seeing some of his work in that area soon! Son
#3 Patrick
is, well, Patrick. He's slightly too young to be
of much use with some of the delicate stuff we do,
so he serves mainly to annoy the mess out of us at
the house, driving us back to the shop to make
more of the products we sell! The
Most Important Member of the (Human) Team Who
could forget her? She's the reason the sons exist
and the reason we slave over a hot furnace day
after day to make more money. She's the Momma
Raven, and in all seriousness, she brings the hope
and encouragement to the team when all else seems
hopeless. The
Most Important Member of the Team PERIOD God.
Yep, God's the man (woman?). As is pretty obvious,
most of our work is inspired by the Lord, with the
biggest portion of our product being our glass
crosses. Without Him, none of us would be here,
and we would have no reason or inspiration to
build the things we do. God can be contacted
through a quiet prayer and a humble heart...
